Thinking About Hope

Aspen Tree Mezuzah with light blue background, almond blossom mezuzah, and 2 guitar pick boutonieres on a fern leaf.
The holiday of Tu BiShvat, literally the 15thndaybof Shvat, is a lot of things, a new year for the trees, a celebration of the fruits of Israel, a day to think about nature and how we are responsible for being a good steward for our planet, but for me it is a holiday of hope. Even when the weather is dark and gloomy and winter seems to stretch forever, spring will be here soon and return the color to our lives.
Wishing for you all a season of hope, color, and a happy Tu BiShvat!
